Fall 2024 Submarine Tours

Our Hours are Changing !   Our summer staff have headed back to school, so we need to make some adjustments.


New Hours:                  Monday  11:00 am to 4:00 pm (last tour leaves at 3:30)


                                        Tuesday - Wednesdays      CLOSED


                                        Thursday - Friday 11:00 am to 4:00 pm (last tour leaves at 3:30)  


                                        Saturday - Sunday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm (last tour leaves at 4:00)       


It is a black boat in the sun, but our air conditioning is working hard to ensure its comfortable inside !                                


This
60+ minute tour will take you through the boat, entering the forward
torpedo room, and exiting from the after torpedo room, and will give you
a greater appreciation of the cramped conditions the crew had to
function in.


Minimum age for children taking the tour is 8 years old.  It has been our experience over the years that children
under that age have difficulty with the length of the tour.  Pets are
not permitted on the tours (service animals excepted) - and even they
can be quite stressed by the open stairways and odours found on board,
so please consider this when planning your tour.  We now have  two
fenced pens where you may choose to have your pet wait while you take
your tour.  Each area offers shade and fresh water, and are available on
a first come, first served basis.


We ask that you please arrive at our ticket office at least 15 minutes before your tour time.
